Starting with version 11, Floorp offers automatic updates on all desktop platforms. Updates are automatically installed on both “Daylight” and “Stable” channels.

Floorp is not compatible with all extensions.

Some extensions do not expect Floorp functions. the Multi Account Containers extension created by Mozilla does not expect PWA windows to work.

The developers have designed Floorp to work, but do not expect all extensions to work.

Please submit feature requests instead. Floorp will implement the functionality it replicates.
However, we promise that more than 90% of extensions will work correctly.

Floorp Expands CPU Support and Delivers Speed Boost on Windows 32-bit

Good news for Windows 32-bit users! Floorp no longer requires a CPU that supports SSE4.1 instructions for installation. This means wider compatibility, with support for all CPUs that can run Firefox.

If you’re having trouble launching the 64-bit version of Floorp, try the 32-bit version instead. It might solve the issue!

❌ Bug fixes

Workspace button issue: We fixed the proliferation of workspace buttons when opening new windows.
Content scripting: Previously, with content scripting enabled, links opened within the web panel when added by third-party apps like Discord. This has been addressed.
Extension disabling: Users can now disable Gesturefy and uBlock Origin in private windows.
PWA window display: We’ve resolved issues causing improper display of PWA windows in certain environments.
Local SearxNG search engine: Adding local SearxNG search engines is now possible.

Content scripting: Cannot create new tab 2nd or later window.

Content scripting: Windows opened by extensions in private windows do not open in private windows
Vertical tab: Use titlebar for create drag spaces.

Can you add the option for FTP downloads as I have website data that use FTP download files links… You can add an extension if possible so we can decide to use or not to use or activate this option…Thanks…

There is an issue in web apps on Windows when I use X or YouTube for example… it is open floorp browser automatically. Are there are things to do in settings that make floorp not open when I use any web apps?

Can you add multiple tabs in split view and have them change as of now I use two separate windows to do this…

Hello team,

Please combine or merge all functionality of the genuine extension, Notes by Mozilla for Firefox, into Floorp’s Note app in BMS,
because both have almost the same functionalities like deploying a subset of Markdown syntax, registerable into BMS, syncing the contents with the other devices logged in by the same user, etc., also avoiding the reinvention of the wheel,
and Mozilla’s one still has a small amount of the functions that Floorp’s one does not have currently, as of March 2024.

Regarding the syntax of Markdown’s subset, please make clear the syntax and specification that we can use and add the functions to import and export as text fully plain and written with them.
